Track Athletes Advance To Sectionals

Class 1 District 7 Track was held Saturday, May 6 at Bethany. Pattonsburg track will be well represented at Sectionals next Saturday at Chillicothe. Top four finishers from each event advance. From Pattonsburg, Trevor Ireland, 1st in 110 Hurdles and 2nd in 300 Hurdles; Brett Curtis, High Jump, 1st; Peyton Jones 4th Long Jump and 1st Triple Jump, all advance to sectional competition.
Also earning team points were Dakota Eaton, 8th 100 m dash and 5th 200 m dash; Caleb Teel, 8th 400 m dash and 7th in 200 m dash; Jones 6th Javelin. The boy's team finished in 5th place with 54 points.
