JH Scholar Bowl Wins First Match of Season
By a narrow score of 180-160, the junior high school academic team was victorious over Worth Co. by a score of 180-160. Team members participating were Ryelin Hulet, Kason Butler, Cadence Chamberlin, Jillian Plymell, and Quincy Crone. Sam Coin is also a team member but was unable to attend. The team traveled to Worth Co. and was sponsored by Mrs. Tuanette Hulet as team coach Gregg Hartley was involved with a home high school match.
The second match of the evening was also against Worth Co. This time the team was defeated by a close score of 110-116. Mr. Hartley stated that he was very pleased with the competitiveness showed by the team.
