High School Track Members Break School Records; Plymell Sets JH Record

Two school track records were recently broken by Peyton Jones and Brett Curtis.  At the Cameron meet on April 10, Curtis cleared 6'2" in the high jump, breaking Bill Thompson's record of 6'0" set in 1992.  Jones jumped 44' 1/2" in the triple jump at Trenton on April 12 to break his own record of 42' 4" set last year.  Tuesday, April 24 at the Stanberry meet, Jones broke the school record in the long jump, jumping a distance of 21'5" to beat the record set by Matt Nalle in 1997, 21'4".

 

At the Worth Co. meet, Jillian Plymell beat her own school record in the 100 m hurdles with a time of 17.87
