Track Athletes to State Competition
Peyton Jones and Brett Curtis are headed to Jefferson City for state track competition May 19 and 20 at Adkins Stadium. Jones won the Sectional Triple Jump with a jump of 42'3.5" and placed 3rd in the Long Jump, jumping 20'1.25". Peyton will be joined by Brett Curtis who placed 2nd in High Jump clearing 5'10". Also competing at the Sectional Meet in Chillicothe was Trevor Ireland who placed 5th in the 110 hurdles and 6th in the 300 hurdles.
Peyton will compete in the triple jump on Friday at 2:00 and the long jump Saturday at 2:00. Brett performs at 9:30 on Friday.
