District FBLA Results
Launch the media gallery 1 player - media #1More than 750 students from 40 chapters in Northwest Missouri traveled to NWMSU in Maryville, February 8 to compete in District I FBLA Contest. Performance events were held that day and machine-graded contests had been completed at the individual schools previously. Leadership workshops and exhibits were also available for chapter members to attend. Capt. Tim Finley, a 17-year combat-decorated U.S. Air Force veteran, delivered the keynote address about courageous leadership, endurance of character and the value of “being comfortable with being uncomfortable.” Finley was a member of the 9-11 rescue crew and has participated in air coalitions against ISIS.
